Orbit Exports' board, at its July 23, 2025 meeting, approved strong Q1 FY26 results. Standalone revenue from operations rose to ₹6,300.45 lakhs (up ~28% from ₹4,921.69 lakhs a year ago) and net profit jumped to ₹1,425.25 lakhs (up ~54% from ₹922.80 lakhs), with EPS at ₹5.38 vs ₹3.49. Consolidated revenue grew to ₹6,587.65 lakhs and net profit to ₹1,500.85 lakhs (EPS ₹5.67). The board approved replacing statutory auditor G.M. Kapadia & Co. with M/s. Nayan Parikh & Co. for a fresh 5-year term (42nd AGM to 47th AGM), subject to shareholder approval. Mr. Varun Daga was recommended for re-appointment as a non-executive, non-independent director, and M/s. S.K. Jain & Co. was appointed as secretarial auditor for FY26. The 42nd AGM is set for September 2, 2025.
Strong quarterly earnings with double-digit profit growth are positive for shareholders; the auditor change appears to be a routine statutory rotation rather than a governance red flag, and is unlikely to materially affect the stock.
