Organic Recycling Systems Ltd (ORSL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Punjab Renewable Energy Systems Private Limited (PRESPL) to jointly develop Bio-Gas and Compressed Bio-Gas (CBG) projects across India and overseas. Under the pact, ORSL will lead on technology, engineering, procurement and construction (TEPC), while PRESPL will handle biomass supply chain management. PRESPL is backed by institutional investors including Shell Ventures and Neev Fund, and brings experience in biomass aggregation, bioenergy generation, and advisory services. The collaboration aligns with India's National Bioenergy Mission and the SATAT initiative promoting CBG as a clean fuel. Together, both firms aim to offer end-to-end solutions from feedstock sourcing to plant operations, targeting domestic and international markets.
This partnership strengthens ORSL's position in the growing bioenergy and waste-to-energy space by combining its technology capabilities with PRESPL's biomass supply expertise and investor backing.
