Oricon Enterprises reported audited standalone results for FY26 with total income of Rs 6,764.31 lakhs (up 66% from Rs 4,071.09 lakhs) and profit after tax of Rs 732.51 lakhs, a turnaround from FY25 loss of Rs 901.79 lakhs. Consolidated profit after tax stood at Rs 2,574.79 lakhs (vs Rs 13,921.58 lakhs in FY25 which included large exceptional gains from business sales). Revenue from operations grew 31.6% on standalone basis to Rs 1,620.22 lakhs, though consolidated revenue declined 9.7% to Rs 4,214.73 lakhs. The company has been aggressively divesting businesses including Packaging, Petrochemical, Metal Crown Seals, and Aluminium Collapsible Tube divisions. The Board recommended 10% dividend (Rs 0.20 per share), approved promoter reclassification, and an independent director resigned. Statutory auditors issued unmodified (clean) opinions on both standalone and consolidated results. Operating cash flow was negative at Rs -1,733.52 lakhs.
The company is undergoing major restructuring with multiple business sales completed. While standalone profitability improved significantly from losses, the large decline in consolidated profit reflects completion of previous year's big divestment gains. Negative operating cash flow and significant other comprehensive losses of Rs -11,600.48 lakhs (mainly due to equity instrument fair value changes) are concerning for shareholders.
