Orient Electric Limited has published newspaper advertisements and sent notices to shareholders regarding the transfer of unclaimed dividend amounts and underlying shares to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF). The company is reminding shareholders that dividends remaining unclaimed for seven consecutive years will be transferred to IEPF along with corresponding equity shares. The unclaimed Final Dividend for FY 2018-19 is due for transfer within 30 days from August 17, 2026. Shareholders have until July 17, 2026 to claim their unpaid dividends by submitting required documents to KFin Technologies Limited, the company's Registrar and Share Transfer Agent. The IEPF Authority has also launched a 100-day 'Saksham Niveshak' Programme from April 1, 2026 to July 9, 2026 to educate investors about claiming unclaimed dividends and updating KYC details.
Shareholders with unclaimed dividends for FY 2018-19 and subsequent years must claim by July 17, 2026 or risk losing both their dividend amount and underlying shares to IEPF. Once transferred to IEPF, claims can only be made through the IEPF Authority using Form IEPF-5.
