Orient Green Power Company Limited filed a corrigendum to its earlier press release on FY26 audited consolidated financial results. The company achieved its highest ever net profit of ₹71.57 Crores in FY26, a 70% jump from ₹42.01 Crores in FY25, driven by favourable wind patterns in the first half of the fiscal, commissioning of its first 7 MW solar plant in December 2025, and a one-time refund of ~₹16 Crores excess interest charged in earlier years. Total income grew 13% to ₹315.57 Crores and EBITDA rose 10% to ₹205.45 Crores. Interest costs fell ~21% to ₹57.18 Crores. The company also expanded wind capacity by 9.9 MW and initiated repowering of old wind turbines under Tamil Nadu's new repowering policy. Q4 FY26 was weaker due to seasonal dip in wind patterns.
Strong positive signal — highest net profit in the company's history, capacity expansion in both wind and solar, and significantly lower interest costs indicate improving operational and financial health, which could be bullish for the stock.
