Orient Green Power's material subsidiary, Beta Wind Farm Private Limited, has executed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Renfra Energy India Limited for setting up 2 Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) of 3.3 MW each, totaling 6.6 MW capacity in Karur District, Tamil Nadu. The contract is valued at approximately Rs. 62 Crores (inclusive of GST) on a turnkey basis. Renfra will handle supply, installation, and commissioning. The IBBC Committee of Beta approved the expansion plan on May 19, 2026, and the project is to be executed on or before July 31, 2026. The EPC contract will be finalized at a later date. This is a domestic contract with no related party or promoter group interest involved.
This expansion adds modest new capacity (6.6 MW) to the company's wind energy portfolio. The Rs. 62 crore investment represents a meaningful capital commitment that will increase future power generation capacity once commissioned by July 2026.
