Oriental Aromatics, one of India's largest integrated manufacturers of aroma chemicals, camphor, fragrances and flavours, filed its June 2025 investor presentation. FY25 consolidated revenue rose to INR 9,283 Mn from INR 8,364 Mn in FY24, while EBITDA nearly doubled to INR 934 Mn with margins recovering to 10.06% from 5.62%. Net profit climbed to INR 343 Mn (vs INR 91 Mn) and EPS reached INR 10.20. The company recently commissioned a new specialty aroma chemicals plant at Mahad (Nov 2024), launched its branded ingredient 'Evermoss', and received P&G's Global Supplier Excellence award in 2023. Revenue mix is 55% domestic and 45% international, with exports reaching over 30 countries.
The sharp recovery in revenue, margins and profits in FY25 signals a turnaround story, supported by new capacity coming online. Shareholders should note that despite margin improvement, long-term borrowings have risen to INR 822 Mn from INR 519 Mn, and the stock trades around INR 410 against a 52-week high of INR 656.
