MTR Foods, a business unit of Orkla India, launched a new Protein Breakfast Range with plant-based protein. Products include Protein Rava Idli Mix, Dosa Mix, Upma Mix, and 3-Minute variants of Poha, Khatta Meetha Poha and Upma. Each serving delivers 10g plant protein with no added preservatives, no maida, no palm oil and low-sodium salt. Range developed at MTR's Cuisine Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru. Initially available in top 4 metros through quick-commerce platforms and general trade, with phased expansion planned to top 28 metros.
New protein-rich line targets growing health-conscious demand and could support revenue growth while strengthening MTR's breakfast leadership.
