Orkla India reported FY26 revenue of INR 2,493 crores (up 5.7%) with EBITDA of INR 424 crores and 16.9% margin. Volume growth accelerated to 5.9% in FY26 from 1.8% in FY23, demonstrating consumption-led growth. Q4 FY26 saw revenue of INR 626 crores with INR 100 crores EBITDA at 16% margin. The company is undergoing distribution restructuring in Kerala (expected completion by Jan 2027) which is causing near-term headwinds. Spice price deflation has reversed with chili inflation of 20-30% and coriander at 10-15%. Digital commerce grew 38% in FY26 and now contributes 8.7% of domestic revenues. International business (GCC) grew 11.8% despite West Asia disruptions. No PLI income was recorded in FY26 versus INR 20.5 crores in FY25. The company maintained INR 600 crores cash surplus.
The company demonstrated resilient volume-led growth and margin expansion despite external headwinds from West Asia conflict and Kerala restructuring. Management guided that price increases taken in Q4 and planned for Q1 FY27 should help offset commodity inflation while driving volume growth.
