Osiajee Texfab's Board, at its meeting on November 14, 2025, approved the unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2025. On a standalone basis, the company posted a net profit of Rs. 35.72 lakhs for Q2 FY26 versus a loss of Rs. 3.98 lakhs in Q2 FY25, though revenue from operations was nil, with income coming entirely from 'other income' of Rs. 38.02 lakhs. On a consolidated basis (which includes the 100% subsidiary Osiajee Agro Farms Limited), net profit jumped sharply to Rs. 171.02 lakhs in Q2 FY26 from Rs. 39.68 lakhs a year ago, taking H1 FY26 consolidated profit to Rs. 210.64 lakhs versus Rs. 39.68 lakhs in H1 FY25. The subsidiary contributed the bulk of the group earnings, reporting standalone revenue of Rs. 169.93 lakhs and net profit of Rs. 135.30 lakhs for the quarter. Consolidated total assets grew to Rs. 2,335.14 lakhs as at September 30, 2025 from Rs. 1,741.43 lakhs at March 31, 2025. The results were subject to a limited review by statutory auditor S C Mehra & Associates LLP, with no qualifications.
The sharp year-on-year jump in consolidated profit (over 4x) is a positive signal, but the real growth driver is the agro-farming subsidiary rather than the parent's textile business, which currently shows no revenue from core operations. Shareholders should view the headline numbers with caution as the standalone fabric business remains essentially dormant, and any stock price reaction may depend on whether the subsidiary's performance is seen as sustainable.
