Oswal Agro Mills Limited reported a sharp jump in Q1 FY26 earnings, with standalone revenue from operations rising to ₹1,922.69 lakh from just ₹45.67 lakh in Q1 FY25, driven primarily by real estate sales of Transferable Development Rights (TDR) received from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation. Standalone profit after tax surged to ₹1,418.74 lakh from ₹171.55 lakh a year ago, and basic EPS improved to ₹1.06 from ₹0.13. On a consolidated basis, PAT stood at ₹1,745.91 lakh, including a ₹327.17 lakh share of profit from associate Oswal Greentech Limited. The company has sold approximately 81,357 sq. mtr out of 1,06,374 sq. mtr of TDR allocated in the first phase. The auditor issued an unqualified limited review report on standalone results and an unqualified report on consolidated results with an Emphasis of Matter regarding an arbitration-linked interest dispute at the associate company.
Strong quarter for shareholders, with revenue and profits multiplying several times year-on-year thanks to monetisation of BMC-allocated TDR. However, the one-off nature of TDR sales means future quarters may not be comparable, and the Emphasis of Matter on associate-level ICD dispute (which understates consolidated PAT by ₹520.26 lakh) is a watchpoint.
