Oswal Pumps shares gain 6% on 63 MW rooftop solar project win, eyes Rs 500 crore revenue opportunity

Oswal Pumps has won a 63 MW rooftop solar project order from NBPDCL and SBPDCL covering 57,492 residential installations across Motihari, Saharsa, and Ara circles in Bihar. The order carries an installation value of approximately Rs 247 crore under a CAPEX-plus-RESCO model, with an additional Rs 257 crore in long-term revenue potential over 10 years through energy supply, totalling a ~Rs 500 crore opportunity. The win marks a strategic expansion for the company beyond its traditional PM Kusum portfolio into the distributed rooftop solar segment.
