Pace Digitek Limited has received a major contract worth Rs. 7,099.19 million (including GST) from NLC India Renewables Limited (NIRL), a domestic government entity. The contract is for the design, engineering, supply, manufacturing, erection, testing, and commissioning of a 250MW/500MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) on a turnkey basis. The project will be executed at three sub-stations in Tamil Nadu: Ottapidaram, Annupankulam, and Kayathar. Additionally, the contract includes comprehensive operation and maintenance services for 12 years from commercial operation. The project has a completion timeline of 12 months for the entire capacity. NLC India is a government of India enterprise under the Ministry of Coal.
This is a substantial order that significantly expands Pace Digitek's order book and provides visibility for 12 years of O&M revenue. The BESS project aligns with India's renewable energy storage push and should be positive for the company's revenue trajectory.
