Padam Cotton Yarns Limited announced its unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2025, approved by the Board on November 5, 2025. Standalone revenue from operations for Q2 FY26 was about Rs 1,708.79 lakhs, while total income for H1 FY26 stood at roughly Rs 3,497 lakhs (vs Rs 3,150 lakhs in H1 FY25). Profit before tax for H1 FY26 was around Rs 420 lakhs (vs Rs 577 lakhs) and profit after tax fell to about Rs 324 lakhs from Rs 427 lakhs in the year-ago period. A small exceptional item of Rs 2.09 lakhs was disclosed in Q2. The statutory auditor (SVJK and Associates) issued a clean limited review report with no qualifications or emphasis of matter. Net cash from operating activities for the half year was modestly positive at Rs 9.65 lakhs.
Profit after tax declined roughly 24% year-on-year for the half year even though revenue was nearly flat, pointing to meaningful margin compression. Shareholders may view the earnings contraction as a negative signal, though results remain profitable and operating cash flow stayed positive.
