Padam Cotton Yarns reported FY25 net profit of Rs. 1,026.06 lakhs versus Rs. 199.14 lakhs in FY24, with EBITDA at Rs. 1,310.35 lakhs (a turnaround from a negative Rs. 153.88 lakhs in FY24). Total income for FY25 stood at Rs. 2,521.17 lakhs against just Rs. 16.07 lakhs in the prior year. Q4 FY25 alone delivered net profit of Rs. 191.67 lakhs on total income of Rs. 1,380.71 lakhs, while Q3 FY25 was the strongest quarter with Rs. 834.39 lakhs net profit. EPS for the full year came in at Rs. 21.51 versus Rs. 5.14 in FY24. The Board has recommended a final dividend of 10% (Re. 1 per share on Rs. 10 face value), subject to shareholder approval at the AGM, in addition to an interim dividend already paid in November 2024.
Sharp profit growth, EBITDA turnaround, and a final dividend are positive signals for shareholders and may support the stock in the short term. Note: FY24 and Q4 FY25 figures appear unusually low compared to FY25, suggesting a possible business expansion or reclassification that investors should clarify before drawing long-term comparisons.
