Panasonic Energy India announced audited financial results for Q4 and FY ended March 31, 2025. Full-year revenue from operations declined to Rs. 26,841.47 lakhs from Rs. 29,242.13 lakhs in FY24, but profit after tax rose slightly to Rs. 1,177.31 lakhs (vs Rs. 1,164.35 lakhs), with EPS at Rs. 15.70 vs Rs. 15.52. Q4 revenue came in at Rs. 6,340.58 lakhs with PAT of Rs. 117.30 lakhs. The Board recommended a dividend of Rs. 9.42 per share (94.20%) for FY25, subject to shareholder approval. Statutory auditors BSR & Co LLP issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on the results. The Board also accepted the resignation of Mr. Akinori Isomura as Chairman & MD effective June 30, 2025, and approved the appointment of Mr. Akio Fujita as the new Chairman & MD for two years starting July 1, 2025.
Despite a decline in top-line revenue, the company maintained profitability and rewarded shareholders with a healthy dividend yield. The leadership transition at the top is a key change for investors to monitor, though the smooth handover to another Panasonic Group executive suggests continuity in strategy.
