Paradeep Phosphates reported audited FY25 results with consolidated revenue from operations rising to Rs. 13,820.21 crores from Rs. 11,575.12 crores in FY24, a growth of about 19%. Consolidated profit before tax jumped sharply to Rs. 753.14 crores from Rs. 140.16 crores, while profit after tax stood at Rs. 548.13 crores, lifting basic EPS to Rs. 6.77 versus Rs. 1.22 last year. The board recommended a dividend of Rs. 1.00 per equity share, subject to shareholder approval. The board also appointed M/s. S.S. Sonthalia & Co. as Cost Auditor, Protiviti India as Internal Auditor for FY26, and M/s. Sunita Jyotirmoy & Associates as Secretarial Auditor for five years starting April 1, 2025. Statutory auditor BSR & Co. LLP issued an unmodified opinion on the financial statements.
Strong earnings recovery and a sharp jump in profitability year-on-year are positive for shareholders, supported by a modest dividend declaration. The clean audit opinion and well-known audit firms (BSR & Co., Protiviti) reinforce governance credibility. Near-term stock reaction may depend on whether the Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers merger progresses, which is still awaiting approvals.
