Paramount Communications reported standalone revenue of Rs. 1,912 Crores for FY2026, up 22.8% from Rs. 1,557 Crores in FY2025. However, profit after tax declined 30.5% to Rs. 60.24 Crores from Rs. 86.72 Crores. Finance costs nearly doubled to Rs. 21 Crores. Operating cash flow turned negative at Rs. 42 Crores versus positive Rs. 102 Crores in the previous year, driven by a sharp increase in trade receivables (doubled to Rs. 413 Crores) and higher working capital needs. Current borrowings surged to Rs. 114 Crores from Rs. 22 Crores. The company also divested its wholly-owned subsidiary Valens Technologies in November 2025. Statutory auditors issued an unmodified (clean) opinion.
Despite strong 23% revenue growth, the 30% profit decline and negative operating cash flow signal pressure on profitability and liquidity. Higher borrowing and finance costs may concern investors about the company's financial flexibility.
