Pasupati Acrylon Limited's Board has approved increasing the ethanol plant capacity from 180 KL per day to 240 KL per day at its Thakurdwara facility in Uttar Pradesh. This represents a 33% capacity increase. The expansion will be achieved through debottlenecking the existing plant rather than building new infrastructure. The company plans to invest approximately Rs. 25 crore, funded entirely through internal accruals. The project is targeted for completion by end of December 2026. The plant is currently running at 100% capacity utilization, limited by orders from Oil Marketing Companies.
This capacity expansion signals management confidence in ethanol demand and should boost future revenues without major new debt. Being funded by internal accruals means no dilution or additional borrowing pressure on shareholders.
