Patanjali Foods invested Rs 5 crore in its wholly owned subsidiary Contemporary Agro Private Limited (CAPL) by subscribing to 50 lakh zero percent redeemable preference shares of Rs 10 each through a rights issue. CAPL operates in agriculture and farming, had nil turnover in FY26, and was incorporated in April 2024. Since PFL already holds 100 percent in CAPL, shareholding percentage remains unchanged. The investment is an internal capital infusion in a newly formed subsidiary.
Minor internal capital infusion in a wholly owned subsidiary; no change in shareholding and no material financial impact expected for shareholders.
