Patanjali Foods shared its Q1 FY26 investor presentation alongside its earnings call held on August 14, 2025. Total income grew 23.75% YoY to ₹8,912.69 Cr, while revenue from operations rose 24% to ₹8,900 Cr. However, total EBITDA declined to ₹334 Cr from ₹435 Cr a year ago, with margins compressing to 3.8% from 6.1%. The Food & Other FMCG segment brought in ₹1,661 Cr, with biscuits revenue at ₹451.40 Cr (8.24% YoY growth) and the 'Doodh' brand crossing ₹304 Cr in quarterly sales. The HPC segment contributed 7.10% to revenue with 18.70% EBITDA margins. Edible oil revenue was ₹6,686 Cr, impacted by the customs duty cut to 10% on crude palm, sunflower, and soybean oils effective May 31, 2025. The Oil Palm Plantation segment expanded to 92,133 hectares across 6.63 lakh hectares allocated area.
Strong top-line growth but significant EBITDA and margin compression year-on-year may pressure the stock in the short term. Investors will watch whether easing raw material costs and the new nutraceutical and HPC launches can restore profitability in upcoming quarters.
