Patanjali Foods' board approved audited standalone and consolidated financial results for Q4 and FY25 on May 15, 2025, with statutory auditors Chaturvedi & Shah LLP issuing an unmodified (clean) opinion. Standalone FY25 revenue from operations rose to ~Rs. 34,157 crore from ~Rs. 31,742 crore in FY24, a growth of about 7.6%, while profit after tax jumped to ~Rs. 1,301 crore from ~Rs. 765 crore, up roughly 70% year-on-year. Q4 FY25 revenue grew about 17.8% to ~Rs. 9,692 crore and Q4 PAT nearly doubled to ~Rs. 359 crore from ~Rs. 206 crore. The board recommended a final dividend of Rs. 2 per share, taking total FY25 dividend to Rs. 10 per share (including the Rs. 8 interim dividend already paid). The company has started reporting a new 'Home & Personal Care' segment after acquiring the non-food business from related party Patanjali Ayurved Limited for Rs. 1,100 crore effective November 1, 2024. Operating cash flow, however, fell sharply to ~Rs. 198 crore from ~Rs. 1,746 crore in FY24, mainly due to a large inventory build-up of ~Rs. 2,442 crore. A contingent item was also disclosed: an arbitration award directing the company to allot about 1.87 crore equity shares to Ashav Advisory LLP, which Patanjali Foods has challenged in the Delhi High Court.
Strong profit growth, margin expansion, a clean audit report, and a Rs. 10 total dividend are positive for shareholders, though the steep drop in operating cash flow and rising inventory, plus the pending share-allotment arbitration, are points investors should watch closely.
