Patanjali Foods reported standalone revenue from operations of ₹8,899.70 crore for Q1FY26, up about 24% year-on-year, with profit after tax of ₹180.39 crore (2.02% margin). The Home & Personal Care segment generated ₹639.02 crore in revenue and contributed 35.98% of segment EBITDA, while Food & Other FMCG clocked ₹1,660.67 crore. Gross profit rose nearly 24% YoY to ₹1,259.19 crore. The Board re-appointed Swami Ramdev (brother of MD Ram Bharat) as a Non-Executive Non-Independent Director and added Durga Shanker Mishra (retired IAS officer) as an Independent Director and Baghrai Majhi as LIC nominee director, since LIC holds a 9.14% stake. A final dividend of ₹2 per share was declared with record date September 3, 2025, and shareholders will vote on a 2:1 bonus issue recommended earlier in July. The 39th AGM is set for September 27, 2025.
Strong top-line growth driven by edible oils and newer HPC segment gives comfort on volumes, though PAT margin at just 2% shows pricing pressure and subdued urban demand. Bonus issue, final dividend and continued promoter family representation are shareholder-friendly, while the pending Ashav Advisory arbitration award remains a key overhang.
