Patanjali Foods reported standalone revenue from operations of Rs. 8,899.70 crore for Q1FY26, up about 24% from Rs. 7,177.17 crore in Q1FY25. However, profit after tax fell sharply to Rs. 180.39 crore (down roughly 31% YoY from Rs. 262.90 crore), with PAT margin at 2.02%. Profit before tax dropped to Rs. 248.60 crore vs Rs. 359.15 crore, while EBITDA from operations stood at Rs. 334.17 crore (3.75% margin). Auditor Chaturvedi & Shah LLP issued an unmodified limited review opinion. The Board approved a final dividend of Rs. 2.00 per share for FY25 with record date Sept 3, 2025, and fixed the AGM for Sept 27, 2025. The Board also previously recommended a 2:1 bonus share issue pending shareholder approval, and appointed a new LIC nominee director, an independent director, a new secretarial auditor, and re-appointed Swami Ramdev.
Strong top-line growth is offset by steep profit decline, suggesting margin pressure that may weigh on the stock near term. The proposed 2:1 bonus issue and final dividend are positives for shareholders, while an arbitration award requiring about 1.87 crore shares to be issued to Ashav Advisory LLP remains a key overhang pending Delhi High Court ruling.
