Pearl Polymers reported unaudited Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025) results with revenue from operations of Rs. 491.78 lakhs, down about 7.7% from Rs. 532.77 lakhs in Q1 FY25. However, total income rose to Rs. 937.58 lakhs, supported by strong other income of Rs. 445.80 lakhs (vs Rs. 311.63 lakhs a year ago). The company swung to a net profit of Rs. 289.44 lakhs from a loss of Rs. 442.73 lakhs in Q1 FY25, giving an EPS of Rs. 1.72 versus a negative Rs. 2.63 earlier. The full-year FY25 had ended with a net loss of Rs. 512 lakhs, so the quarterly turnaround is notable. The board also fixed September 22, 2025 as the date for the AGM via video conferencing, and approved the appointment of M/s Abhishek Gupta & Associates as Secretarial Auditors for a first term of five years from FY 2025-26, subject to shareholder approval.
The return to profitability is a positive signal, but shareholders should note that the swing to black was largely driven by other/non-operating income, while core revenue from operations actually declined year-on-year. The AGM and secretarial auditor appointment are routine governance items and are unlikely to move the stock on their own.
