Photoquip India Ltd reported audited standalone results for FY25 with total income rising ~9.7% YoY to Rs. 1,809.10 lakhs (from Rs. 1,649.55 lakhs in FY24). The company posted a net profit of Rs. 34.10 lakhs in FY25, a turnaround from a net loss of Rs. 223.07 lakhs in FY24, with EPS of Rs. 0.57 vs Rs. 4.17 previously. However, the Q4 standalone performance was weak — total income fell ~18.6% YoY to Rs. 480.93 lakhs and Q4 PAT dropped ~85% to Rs. 9.22 lakhs (from Rs. 61.39 lakhs in Q4 FY24). Statutory auditor F P & Associates issued an unmodified (clean) opinion but flagged two emphasis of matter items: Rs. 66.93 lakhs in pending refunds from government authorities and Rs. 41.19 lakhs of slow-moving stock out of Rs. 289.26 lakhs total inventory.
Full-year turnaround from loss to profit is a positive signal, but the sharp Q4 slowdown and auditor's emphasis on slow-moving inventory and pending government refunds suggest weak underlying momentum that shareholders should watch closely.
