Piramal Pharma's board, at its May 14, 2025 meeting, approved audited FY25 results and a final dividend of Rs. 0.14 per share (subject to shareholder approval). On a standalone basis, net profit rose 77% year-on-year to Rs. 691.40 crores on revenue of Rs. 5,285.71 crores, with basic EPS of Rs. 5.22. On a consolidated basis, net profit jumped from Rs. 17.82 crores to Rs. 91.13 crores on revenue of Rs. 9,151.18 crores, a 12% increase. Mr. Neeraj Bharadwaj, a Carlyle (CA Alchemy Investments) nominee, resigned as Non-Executive Director for personal reasons, and was replaced by another Carlyle representative, Mr. Amit Jain. Independent director Mr. Jairaj Purandare was reappointed for a second 5-year term effective February 9, 2026. The auditors (Deloitte Haskins & Sells LLP) issued an unmodified opinion on the results.
The sharp jump in standalone profitability and steady consolidated growth, combined with a dividend declaration, are positives for shareholders. The Carlyle nominee swap on the board is a routine investor representative change and should not affect operations, while the reappointment of the independent director ensures governance continuity.
