Arihant Institute Limited, listed on the BSE SME platform (Scrip Code: 541401), has submitted its 18th Annual Report for FY 2024-25. Revenue from operations fell sharply to Rs. 4.29 lakh from Rs. 8.12 lakh in FY 2023-24, while other income dropped to Rs. 5.19 lakh from Rs. 35.22 lakh. Profit after tax declined to Rs. 1.54 lakh from Rs. 3.34 lakh, and EPS halved to Rs. 0.02 from Rs. 0.04. No dividend has been recommended, citing expansion plans. The 18th AGM is scheduled for October 31, 2025, with the reappointment of Mrs. Anjali Sandipkumar Kamdar (Executive Director & CFO) by rotation as one of the items. The statutory auditor flagged large unpaid statutory dues as of March 31, 2025, including Income Tax arrears of Rs. 2.46 crore, GST of Rs. 34.28 lakh, and TDS of Rs. 32.61 lakh, though the company states most dues have since been cleared.
The significant drop in revenue and profits, combined with substantial historical statutory dues and the company's small size (paid-up capital Rs. 9.41 crore on BSE SME), signals continued financial stress. Shareholders should note the lack of dividend, weak earnings, and pending tax liabilities, though management claims the financial position has since improved.
