Godrej Properties Limited (GPL) announced on June 16, 2025, that it will develop a premium residential project on a ~14-acre land parcel in Hoskote, East Bengaluru. The project is expected to offer approximately 1.5 million square feet of saleable area with an estimated revenue potential of around INR 1,500 crore. The location, about 5 km off NH-75, enjoys strong connectivity to Whitefield, ITPL, KR Puram, and the upcoming Aerospace Park, areas seeing rapid infrastructure upgrades. The company highlighted this acquisition as building on the success of its earlier Godrej Woodscapes project in the same micro-market. Management, led by MD and CEO Gaurav Pandey, described Hoskote as a key growth market aligned with their vision of high-quality residential developments.
The new project adds to GPL's Bengaluru pipeline and supports future revenue growth, which is positive for shareholders. However, the INR 1,500 crore figure is based on current business assumptions and is subject to market and execution risks.
