Blue Star Limited submitted its Q4 & FY25 earnings call transcript to BSE/NSE. For FY25, consolidated revenue grew 23.6% to Rs. 11,976.7 Cr, crossing Rs. 12,000 Cr in total income. Net profit rose to Rs. 591.2 Cr (vs Rs. 414.3 Cr), with EBITDA margin improving 40 bps to 7.3%. Order book hit a record Rs. 6,263 Cr, up 9.9% year-on-year. The Board recommended a higher dividend of Rs. 9/share (vs Rs. 7/share). Management noted April 2025 industry room AC sales declined 15-20%, though Blue Star grew ~5%; FY26 margin guidance was set at 7.5% for Segment-I and 8.5% for Segment-II, with an aspiration to reach 9%. RAC market share is now ~14%, with 100 bps gain over recent quarters.
Strong FY25 results with record order book and higher dividend are positive for shareholders. However, soft April industry trends and explicit acknowledgment that 'dramatic margin improvement' will be tough in FY26 may temper near-term sentiment. Investors should watch May-June summer performance as a key catalyst.
