Blue Star Limited has informed shareholders about the tax deduction process on its proposed final dividend of Rs 9 per equity share (face value Rs 2) for FY25, recommended by the Board on May 7, 2025. The dividend is subject to shareholder approval at the AGM scheduled for August 6, 2025, with July 18, 2025 fixed as the record date. TDS will be deducted at 10% for resident shareholders with valid PAN, 20% for those without PAN or with PAN-Aadhaar not linked, and nil for residents with total dividend under Rs 10,000. Shareholders claiming lower or nil TDS must submit declarations (Form 15G/15H, Annexure-1 or Annexure-2, TRC, Form 10F for non-residents) to the RTA by July 11, 2025, 5:00 PM IST. Physical shareholders are also reminded to update KYC details (PAN, bank account, nomination) with the RTA to receive payments.
Shareholders who fail to submit the required documents by the July 11, 2025 deadline will face a higher TDS rate of 20% on their dividend. Eligible shareholders can avoid tax deduction entirely by submitting Form 15G/15H (residents) or tax treaty documents (non-residents).
