Vedanta Limited filed copies of newspaper advertisements (published in Financial Express and Loksatta on May 1, 2025) for its audited consolidated and standalone financial results for Q4 FY25 and the full year ended March 31, 2025. The company reported its highest-ever consolidated full-year revenue of ₹1,50,725 crore, with full-year EBITDA up 37% YoY at ₹43,541 crore. Quarterly consolidated PAT jumped 118% YoY to ₹4,961 crore, while full-year PAT surged to ₹14,988 crore from ₹4,239 crore in FY24. Standalone full-year PAT rose sharply to ₹17,928 crore (from ₹6,623 crore), with basic EPS of ₹38.97 (consolidated) and ₹46.53 (standalone) for the year. The debt-equity ratio improved to 0.57 standalone and 1.37 consolidated, with auditors issuing an unmodified opinion.
Strong all-round results with record revenue, sharply higher profits, and improved leverage are likely to be viewed positively by shareholders. The filings are procedural (newspaper publication under SEBI Regulation 47) — the actual financial impact has already been priced in following the April 30 board announcement.
