Blue Star Limited reported strong FY25 results, with total income crossing Rs 12,000 crores for the first time. Revenue from operations grew 23.6% to Rs 11,976.65 crores, up from Rs 9,685.36 crores in FY24. Net profit (before exceptional items) grew 40% to Rs 581 crores, while operating profit rose 31.8% to Rs 875.92 crores with margins improving from 6.9% to 7.3%. EPS climbed to Rs 28.76 from Rs 20.77, and the carried-forward order book grew 9.9% to Rs 6,263 crores. The Electro-Mechanical Projects and Unitary Products segments both posted strong revenue and profit growth, though the Professional Electronics segment declined. The Board recommended a higher dividend of Rs 9 per share (vs Rs 7 last year). Management remains optimistic, expecting summer-driven AC demand to lift Q1FY26.
This is a robust set of numbers with double-digit growth across revenue, profit, and margins, along with a dividend hike — likely to be viewed positively by the market. The weakness in the Professional Electronics segment and softer April demand are minor watchpoints but unlikely to overshadow the strong overall performance.
