PNB Housing Finance filed its Q1 FY26 investor presentation ahead of the earnings call. Total loan assets grew 16% YoY to ₹77,732 crore, with retail loan assets up 18% YoY at ₹76,923 crore. The Affordable segment surged 143% YoY to ₹5,744 crore and Emerging Markets grew 20% YoY to ₹22,701 crore, together contributing 37% of retail assets. Net profit rose 23% YoY to ₹534 crore. Asset quality improved with Gross NPA falling to 1.06% (from 1.35% YoY) and Net NPA at 0.69%; corporate NPA remained nil. Spread improved to 2.23% (from 2.19% QoQ) and cost of borrowing fell to 7.76% (from 7.84% QoQ), though NIM was largely flat at 3.74%. Capital adequacy stayed strong at 29.68% with AA+ stable rating, and ROA stood at 2.57% (annualised).
A solid quarterly update with strong retail growth, especially in the high-yield Affordable segment, and continued improvement in asset quality. The results are broadly steady-state with no major surprises; the presentation supports the narrative of stable execution but is unlikely to be a strong catalyst for the stock on its own.
