PNC Infratech Limited has accepted NHAI's one-time settlement offer of Rs. 234.72 crore for an arbitration award related to the Agra Bypass EPC project. The original arbitration award published in May 2025 was for Rs. 485.27 crore. Under the Vivad-se-Vishwas III (Contractual Disputes) Scheme, the settlement comprises 45% of the awarded sum plus 9% per annum simple interest. The company accepted the offer on May 5, 2026, and NHAI will make payment within 30 days of signing the settlement agreement. An additional 5 days interest (Rs. 0.27 crore) will also be received.
Shareholders can expect a positive cash inflow of approximately Rs. 235 crore, which will boost the company's liquidity and settle a long-standing dispute. While the settlement is roughly half the original award amount, it provides certainty and avoids prolonged litigation.
