Poddar Pigments Limited's Board approved the audited financial results for Q4 and FY ended 31st March 2026. Net profit stood at Rs. 147.59 crore, down from Rs. 147.59 crore in FY2025. Profit Before Tax declined significantly to Rs. 200.43 crore compared to Rs. 303.49 crore in the previous year. Total income from operations was Rs. 374.86 crore. Other comprehensive income was significantly negative at Rs. (506.90) crore, largely due to fair value changes in equity investments. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs. 4 per share (40%) with a total outflow of Rs. 424.40 lakh. The company also commissioned a 3.51 MWp solar power plant in January 2026 at Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. Statutory auditors K.N. Gutgutia & Co. issued an unmodified opinion on the financial statements.
Despite a decline in profitability, the dividend recommendation and clean audit signal shareholder-friendly management. The large negative OCI may weigh on total comprehensive income and retained earnings. Shareholders should monitor if the profit decline is cyclical or structural.
