Poddar Pigments reported its audited results for Q4 and full year ended March 31, 2025, with a clean (unmodified) audit opinion from K.N. Gutgutia & Co. Full-year net revenue from operations was almost flat at Rs. 36,849.94 lakh vs Rs. 36,900.66 lakh in FY24, but profit before tax fell about 22% to Rs. 3,034.94 lakh and net profit declined roughly 21% to Rs. 2,281.80 lakh (FY24: Rs. 2,881.90 lakh). Q4 FY25 was weaker, with net profit at Rs. 514.06 lakh vs Rs. 874.64 lakh a year ago. The Board has recommended a final dividend of Rs. 4 per share (40%), totaling about Rs. 424.40 lakh in outflow. The company also announced the appointment of Shri Yug Mahesshwari as the new CFO effective June 1, 2025.
For shareholders, the flat top line combined with a ~21% drop in net profit points to margin pressure, which is mildly negative for the stock. The unchanged Rs. 4 dividend signals steady shareholder returns, but the CFO change and weaker profitability will likely draw investor attention.
