Polycab India Limited has incorporated a new wholly owned subsidiary named Polycon Infra Projects Private Limited (PIPPL). The subsidiary was registered on April 24, 2026, and will operate in power distribution, transmission, and telecom sectors, undertaking Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) projects. The authorised capital is ₹1 crore with paid-up capital of ₹10 lakh. Polycab holds 100% shareholding in the new entity, which is positioned as an extended arm of the parent company to carry out infrastructure projects.
This is a routine corporate structuring exercise. Creating a dedicated subsidiary for EPC projects may help Polycab segregate project-specific risks and revenues, but it does not directly impact shareholders or stock price in the near term.
