Polycab India's board met on May 6, 2025, and approved the audited standalone and consolidated financial results for Q4 and full year ended March 31, 2025, with the statutory auditor (BSR & Co. LLP) issuing an unmodified opinion. For FY25, consolidated revenue from operations rose to about ₹2,24,083 million (around 24% growth YoY from ₹1,80,394 million), while consolidated profit for the year grew to ₹20,455 million from ₹18,029 million. Q4 FY25 revenue came in at ₹69,858 million with a profit of ₹7,344 million, up significantly from a year ago. The board also recommended a 350% dividend, i.e., ₹35 per share on a ₹10 face value, subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming AGM. Additionally, Ernst & Young LLP was re-appointed as Internal Auditor, R. Nanabhoy & Co. as Cost Auditor for FY26, and BNP & Associates was appointed as Secretarial Auditor for a 5-year term.
Strong FY25 results with healthy revenue and profit growth are positive for shareholders, and the ₹35/share dividend signals robust cash returns. The stock may see positive momentum given the earnings beat and dividend announcement, though the FMEG segment continues to report losses.
