Polycab India Limited has announced the results of its Postal Ballot conducted via e-voting between January 24, 2026 and February 22, 2026. All five resolutions were passed with the requisite majority, including the re-appointment of Mrs. Manju Agarwal as Independent Director (92.70% in favor) and the re-appointment of Mr. Bharat A. Jaisinghani and Mr. Nikhil R. Jaisinghani as Whole-time Directors for five years, both receiving 99.67% support. The resolutions also formalize the change in designation of both Jaisinghani brothers from Executive Director to Joint Managing Director, effective January 16, 2026, with near-unanimous approval of 99.99%. The Postal Ballot Notice was sent to 3,57,394 members, out of a total 3,71,248 members on the cut-off date. The scrutinizer, Mr. Avinash Bagul of BNP & Associates, confirmed the voting process was fair and transparent.
Shareholders have formally approved the elevation of the two Jaisinghani brothers (promoter family) to the role of Joint Managing Director and their re-appointment for another five-year term, signaling continuity in leadership. The strong approval margins (over 99% for the Jaisinghani resolutions) reflect solid shareholder confidence in the existing management.
