India Ratings and Research (Ind-Ra) has affirmed and assigned credit ratings to Polyplex Corporation's bank loan facilities, all at IND AA-/Stable for long-term and IND A1+ for short-term. A new term loan of Rs. 1,000 million from HDFC Bank (maturing September 2030) was assigned this rating. Existing fund-based working capital limits of Rs. 2,370 million and non-fund-based limits of Rs. 300 million were affirmed, while a new fund-based working capital limit of Rs. 1,530 million was also assigned. The Stable outlook indicates the rating agency expects the company's credit profile to remain steady. The total rated facilities amount to Rs. 5,200 million spread across multiple banks including HDFC, ICICI, Axis, Yes Bank, DBS, IDBI, and CTBC Bank.
This is a neutral-to-positive signal for shareholders — the high investment-grade AA- rating was maintained on existing facilities, and new credit lines were assigned at the same strong level, suggesting continued lender confidence and easy access to bank funding.
