Power Grid Corporation has promoted two internal senior executives to Executive Director positions effective April 1, 2026. Shri Gyaneshwar Prasad Payasi, previously in the CMD-Coordination Cell with over three decades of experience in power transmission and asset management, will continue heading the CMD-Coordination Cell as ED. Shri Pradeep Kumar, previously heading the CTDS-AP project in Arunachal Pradesh with nearly three decades of experience in asset management and consultancy, has also been elevated to ED. Both appointments are one level below the Board of Directors, and their tenure will be governed by POWERGRID's service rules.
