Power Mech Projects shares gain 5% as company secures ₹1,009 crore JSW Thermal Energy contract

Power Mech Projects shares rose 5 percent in intraday trade after the company secured a Rs 1,008.90 crore contract from JSW Thermal Energy Ltd for civil and structural works in the BTG area of a 2x800 MW thermal power project at Salboni, West Bengal, to be executed in 36 months. The order is a domestic contract with no related-party involvement and is expected to strengthen the order book and improve revenue visibility. The company has recently won several large contracts, including Rs 266.26 crore from Adani for thermal power O&M and Rs 296 crore from Maha Mumbai Metro for the Mumbai Monorail project.
