Prabha Energy Limited reported strong financial recovery for FY 2025-26 with standalone revenue from operations growing 183% to Rs. 447.12 lakhs from Rs. 157.75 lakhs. The company swung from a net loss of Rs. 156.48 lakhs to a net profit of Rs. 47.32 lakhs year-on-year. Consolidated revenue rose 53% to Rs. 610.80 lakhs with net profit of Rs. 61.04 lakhs versus a loss of Rs. 139.55 lakhs previously. The company sold its 70% stake in Mis Deep Natural Resources Limited, which ceased to be a subsidiary. Post-year-end, the company allotted 96.67 lakh partly paid-up equity shares at Rs. 144 per share, raising approximately Rs. 13.92 billion. Statutory auditors Mahendra N. Shah & Co. issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on both standalone and consolidated results. The company re-appointed Manubhai & Shah LLP as internal auditor for FY 2026-27.
The stock should see positive sentiment as the company returned to profitability with strong revenue growth and raised significant capital post-year-end. The clean auditor opinion removes any concerns about financial reporting quality. However, investors should monitor the high capital expenditure and debt levels.
