Prakash Steelage Limited reported revenue of Rs 9,074.67 lakhs for FY26, up 18.5% from Rs 7,656.86 lakhs in FY25. However, profitability declined sharply with Net Profit After Tax falling 35.3% to Rs 83.87 lakhs from Rs 129.57 lakhs. Q4 PAT was just Rs 3.64 lakhs compared to Rs 25.77 lakhs in Q4 FY25. EBITDA margin compressed from 3.84% to 2.28% indicating rising cost pressures. Other equity stands negative at Rs 777.15 lakhs reflecting accumulated losses. On a positive note, operating cash flow turned positive at Rs 661.08 lakhs versus negative Rs 332.82 lakhs in the prior year. The statutory auditor issued an unmodified (clean) opinion.
Revenue growth was offset by margin compression and profit decline. The negative shareholder equity raises concerns about accumulated losses, though improved cash generation is a positive sign. Shareholders should monitor if the company can restore profitability in FY27.
