Prakash Steelage Limited has published its unaudited standalone financial results for Q1 FY26 (quarter ended 30th June 2025) in Business Standard (English) and Pratahkal (Marathi) on 12th August 2025, as required under SEBI LODR regulations. Total income from operations stood at Rs 1,661.36 lakhs, down from Rs 1,768.51 lakhs in the same quarter last year. Net profit after tax jumped sharply to Rs 38.06 lakhs from Rs 8.50 lakhs in Q1 FY25. Basic and diluted EPS came in at Rs 0.02 versus Rs 0.00 in the year-ago quarter. The results were approved by the Board on 11th August 2025 after review by the audit committee and limited review by statutory auditors.
Although top-line revenue declined roughly 6% year-on-year, the company delivered a strong profit recovery with PAT growing nearly 4.5x, suggesting better margins or cost control. The improved EPS from near-zero to Rs 0.02 is a positive signal for shareholders, though the small absolute size of profits means the stock impact may be limited.
