Precision Camshafts filed its Q4 FY25 investor presentation with the exchanges. On a standalone basis, total income came in at Rs 147.47 crore, up about 5% sequentially but lower than Rs 176.21 crore a year ago. Consolidated total income was Rs 200.75 crore, nearly flat quarter-on-quarter but down about 23% year-on-year. Consolidated PAT grew around 2% sequentially but fell sharply versus the year-ago quarter. Camshaft volumes were roughly stable at 2.12 million units, with 70% from casting and 30% from machined camshafts. Subsidiary EMOSS (electric drivelines for heavy equipment) contributed Rs 16.92 crore in revenue and Rs 9.37 crore in EBITDA, making it the most profitable unit of the group this quarter.
The presentation reinforces the company's diversification into electric drivelines via EMOSS, but the year-on-year revenue and profit decline highlights continued demand weakness in the core camshaft business. Investors will watch upcoming quarters for a recovery in volumes and sustained profitability from the EMOSS acquisition.
