Premier Energies has filed the Crisil Ratings Limited Monitoring Agency Report on use of IPO proceeds raised in August 2024 (Rs 12,388.89 million net). Of the net proceeds, Rs 1,266.92 million has been deployed into the 4 GW Solar PV TOPCon cell and module facility through subsidiary Premier Energies Global Environment Pvt Ltd, while Rs 2,357.90 million has been used for General Corporate Purposes (mostly infused back into the subsidiary for a 1 GW module line and land acquisition). About Rs 8,764 million remains unutilized and is parked in fixed deposits across Axis, Yes, ICICI and HSBC banks earning 4.75%–7.90% interest. The project location under Object 1 has been shifted from Ranga Reddy District (Telangana) to Tirupati District (Andhra Pradesh) via a special resolution dated April 6, 2025, with shareholders' approval in place. Several statutory approvals (factory plan, fire, PESO, electricity load release, etc.) are still pending. The report flags no delay in implementation as of June 30, 2025.
Routine regulatory compliance filing — no negative surprise. The shift of the 4 GW project to Andhra Pradesh and ongoing capex deployment are on track, but the large unutilized balance (~71% of net proceeds) and pending statutory approvals keep execution risk in focus for investors tracking the solar manufacturing ramp-up.
