Premier Energies held an earnings call for Q2 and H1 FY26, reporting record revenue and profit, with new 1.2 GW TOPCon cell line ramping up to full utilization by December 2025. Management announced scaling up its 4.8 GW TOPCon cell project in Naidupeta to 7 GW at an incremental capex of about INR502 crores, advancing its 10 GW cell capacity target by 18 months to September 2026. The company won new orders worth INR6,511 crores in the quarter, with order book spanning 12-18 months. Through acquisitions of KSolare (inverters, via Syrma SGS partnership) and Transcon (transformers, capacity rising from 2.5 GVA to 16.75 GVA), the company expects BSS, inverters, and allied businesses to contribute around 30% of revenue over time. Capex pipeline is about INR4,000 crores over the next 12 months (7 GW cell + 5.6 GW module lines), with an additional INR6,000 crores for ingot-wafer project after that, all funded through internal accruals with no new debt planned.
Positive signals for shareholders: strong order inflows, ahead-of-schedule capacity expansion, and a self-funded growth plan support the growth story. Debt-free trajectory and diversified revenue mix into BESS, inverters, and transformers reduce concentration risk in solar cells and modules.
