Premier Explosives reported Q4FY26 revenue of Rs 892.1 Mn (up 20% YoY) with PAT of Rs 66 Mn (up 78% YoY). FY26 full-year revenue was Rs 3,883.4 Mn (down 7% YoY) but PAT grew 60.5% to Rs 458.3 Mn with EBIT margin expanding to 17.8% from 11.7%. The Defence & Space segment contributed 76% of Q4 revenue at Rs 677 Mn. Operating profit was impacted by elevated raw material prices, causing Q4 EBITDA to turn negative at Rs -3.2 Mn. The company announced a highest-ever order book of Rs 15,690 Mn (95% from Defence), representing 4.04x FY26 revenue. FY25 had larger high-value Chaffs and Flares orders affecting FY26 execution timing.
Despite margin pressure from raw material costs, the record order book of Rs 15,690 Mn (~4x revenue) provides strong multi-year revenue visibility. The Defence segment's dominant 95% share signals sustained growth. PAT growth of 60% YoY despite revenue decline indicates improved operational efficiency.
